Job Summary
Carpenter applicants need to have 2+ years working on commercial construction projects which can include: vertical concrete structures, metal and wood-framed mixed-use buildings and who have a broad-range of carpentry skills.
Summary of Essential Responsibilities
  • Experience working with: boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, roto-hammer, nail-guns, electronic leveling devices, etc.
  • Strong working knowledge of construction job site safety and the ability to lead a small team to complete carpentry, punch work and safety items in a safe, effective and time sensitive manner.
  • High standard of integrity, workmanship and professionalism, punctual on the job and positive work ethic.  Able to effectively communicate and collaborate with a variety of Subcontractors, Foreman and Laborers to ensure tasks are completed right the first time.

Summary of Essential Requirements
  • 2-year's experience as a Carpenter on large scale, commercial, mixed-use and/or multi-family projects.
  • Perform a variety of finish and rough carpentry services consistent with RFI responses, plan details and specifications to keep drywall, paint, millwork, interior and exterior framing; window and door installment; siding; roofing; stairs and handrails; decks; floor systems; cabinet installation and finish carpentry moving along in ‘cruise control’ mode.
  • Able to establish layout, determine dimensions with the ability to generate material take-offs as required.
  • Proficient at all levels of carpentry and understanding all of the trade tools.
  • Proficient with reading blue prints, building diagrams, RFIs, ASIs, etc.
  • Follow safety and house-keeping protocols at all times.
